Lakeside Jr. Angler's Fishing Club is all about kids catching a lot of fish, having fun, getting excited and enjoying the adventures of fishing. It is about learning how to answer the call of Jesus and becoming great fishers of kids. Jr. Angler's is about developing relationships with one another that can last a life time.

Fishing teaches patience, focus and dedication, which are great qualities to grow into adulthood with. Realizing that God has created everything for a purpose, we teach the Jr. Anglers to care and have respect for the environment and the fish that they catch. We teach the Angler's the laws and etiquette of fishing.

We fish on the first Saturday of every month, except when there is a fishing derby. Lakeside Jr. Angler's are involved in most of the derbies in San Diego County. We also have access to privately stocked lakes.

The club supplies everything needed for a fun and exciting day of fishing including poles, tackle, bait, individual instructions and transportation. We are able to provide all these amities because of the generous support of our many sponsors.

All girls and boys 5 years old through 13 are welcome to come fishing with us. We have a great record of catching our limit and usually take a lot of prizes at the derbies. So come be a part of the Lakeside Jr. Angler's Fishing Club and catch some real whoppers.
